Perfect for bikes, scooters or a family stroll, the Greenway is an easy, traffic-free way to explore the local landscape. Adult bikes are provided as complimentary – bring your own kids bikes or hire locally.

Just next door is the Waterford Suir Valley Railway – a narrow-gauge heritage train that winds its way along the river with views of the countryside and wildlife.

Our Family Forest Cabins — including Fern, Maple and Beech — are designed for families who want a balance of adventure and comfort. Each one includes:

• A double bedroom plus a bunk room (suitable for under 16s only)

• Open-plan living space and a small, fully equipped kitchenette

• Private outdoor terrace with a safety gate on the decking

• Hot tub for parents to relax under the stars

• Towels provided for both adults and kids

We know travelling with little ones takes planning, so we provide:

• Travel cots (with space to fit comfortably)

• Bed guards (on request)

• Highchairs in your cabin

• Baby changing facilities in The Stables Café

• A family-friendly menu with favourites that always please (see the Kids’ Menu here)

Autumn is the perfect time to let nature set the pace. At Mount Congreve, kids can:

• Follow garden trails and race down the Beech Lawn

• Spend hours in the woodland playground, complete with tunnel slides, seesaws, hammocks, and climbing frames

• Hunt for the Dinosaur Tree, greet our famously friendly robins, and spot native wildlife
