THE FOXFORD STORY

Established over a century ago to serve the village of Foxford, FOXFORD Mill sits on the banks of the River Moy in rural County Mayo, Ireland. For over 130 years, it has manufactured the finest wool throws and blankets and designed the highest-quality bed linen with designer Helen McAlinden.
Over a century ago, Mother Agnes, the mill’s founder, stood on a bridge in Foxford and contemplated a future with community and craftsmanship at its core. Foxford Woollen Mill, as it was then known, was established in 1892 as a means of improving people’s livelihoods and has supported the local area ever since.

FOXFORD AT MOUNT CONGREVE

FOXFORD are proud to partner with Mount Congreve Gardens and bring their century of community and craftsmanship to this 18th-century estate.

After your garden visit step back in time and enter the former stable yard of Mount Congreve House which is now home to FOXFORD.
