The gardens are enclosed by beautiful trees and woodlands and filled with the visual delights of our rare plant collections as well as unique follies. Don’t forget to look up!

Listen to the water fountains or sit and tune into the songs of the many native birds who are regular visitors to the gardens.

The scent throughout the Fragrant Walk fills the air almost all year but especially in winter and early spring. All year round the garden is full of plants and flowers with beautiful (and not so beautiful!) fragrances.

Enjoy the taste of fresh, local produce in the Stables Café or for a full sensory delight, book a private tour with our Garden Curator.
