About Julian Walton Julian Walton is a historian, author and lecturer with a lifelong interest in Irish history and genealogy, particularly relating to County Waterford. A former teacher, librarian and editor of historical journals, he has written extensively on Waterford’s heritage, including The Royal Charters of Waterford and the On This Day volumes. He is currently Resident Historian at Dunhill Multi-Education Centre, where he continues to share his knowledge of local history.
