Please note that in the event of an orange or red weather warning, the gardens will remain closed. We advise you to check weather conditions before travelling. Mount Congreve Gardens is open all bank holidays with the exception of Christmas Day, St. Stephen’s Day, and New Year’s Day. There will be an annual closure each January. Please also note that the gardens, cafe, FOXFORD and greenway entrance, will be closed until 12pm on 22nd June 2025 for the Viking Marathon.

Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Upon arrival at Mount Congreve, please follow the signs to the carpark.
Do not leave any valuables in your car.
Blue badge parking is available at Mount Congreve House (go past the sign for the main car park and continue up the avenue).
For those with mobility issues, a drop-off facility is available at Mount Congreve House.
The Stables Café & Shop are accessible without the purchase of a garden ticket.
Pets are welcome in the Wetlands only.
Registered Guide Dogs are permitted in the gardens.
Picnics are not permitted on the grounds.
Greenway visitors must disembark their bikes & store them in the bike depot before entry to the gardens.
Mount Congreve Gardens are not liable for loss or damage to property.

Families and Individuals can purchase their Membership Pass now. Members can enjoy visiting the Gardens as many times per year as is desired during normal opening hours. Meander through 70 acres of stunning woodland gardens along 16km of winding pathways, explore the 4 acre walled garden, discover hidden follies and have fun in the children’s play areas.

We hope that everyone who visits Mount Congreve Gardens enjoys their visit. Please note that the Buggy Loop must be pre-booked in advance. Days and times of operation may vary, so we recommend checking availability online before travelling. Carers receive complimentary garden admission.
Fragrant Walk - Accessible Route (20 minutes)
Accessible to all our visitors, enjoy year-round, ever-changing fragrances as you journey through varied plant collections and glimpse the woodland garden to the west and the walled garden to the east. Please note that the walled garden contains gradients and may be challenging to navigate for those with limited mobility. We advise guests to take this into account when planning their visit.
