Experience the timeless elegance and luxury of The Large Drawing Room at Mount Congreve House. Inspired by Mr Congreve’s trips to Asia, this elegant room offers guests a taste of history in a charming setting. Enjoy sumptuous finger sandwiches, scones and decadent pastries surrounded by the historic estate’s many gardens and trees. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with natural light while Waterford Crystal chandeliers and lamps bestow a grand sense of occasion.
We invite you to enjoy time in the gardens either before or after your delicious traditional Afternoon Tea.
Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea & Jazz tickets: €65.00 per adult plus booking fee – includes traditional afternoon tea in the Large Drawing Room with live jazz music, as well as access to the gardens Sitting: 13:00 pm Important information:- Tables of 4's, 5's or 6's available.
- This room is home to hand-painted wallpaper that is over 200 years old. It is not permitted to touch by hand or lean any objects against.
- Family tables are available in the main Stables Café.
- Dietary requirements can be accommodated but must be communicated at the time of booking.

Every Thursday, between March - October, you can join us for a scheduled guided tour of the gardens everyday at 2:00pm (weather permitting). Meet at Mount Congreve House before entering the gardens, through the house, as the Congreve Family once did.
